Can you love yourself younger?

Have you noticed how “age” focused our society is?

It seems like there are rules and predictions for how people should age, will age, and how they should behave at certain ages where ever you turn.

I know how much that can effect you! I got sucked into those beliefs.

In my late 30’s I kept hearing how “that’s what happens when you get older…”

If I was achey (I had unresolved trauma and stress, no wonder my body hurt!) or tired, or got sick… “That’s what happens when you get older” was what people said. And they said it about themselves, too.

My brain believed them. And my body followed.

When I was 40, I started clearing traumas and learning to love myself. I was so grateful to find EFT/Tapping. It saved my life. And it took me a bit to peel away the layers and find myself again.

When I was 44 I got a personal trainer. He told me to try a stretch. I told him I was too old to do that. He said try anyway. And strangely enough… My body could move that way. Or it could gently learn to move that way again.

He told me to lift a weight. I said I was too old. He said to try one round. Strangely enough, I could do it. And I think because I started tapping on my limiting beliefs, I got strong surprisingly fast. My muscles *wanted* to increase the weight, and loved how it felt.

I feel younger than I can ever remember feeling. Honestly, when I think back about it… My body ached when I was a kid sometimes, too.

Our health is so tied to our emotions and energy. And the cool thing is (if you’d like to have credible studies to help your brain get on board with this), new science is proving just how powerful our mind is in preventing (or causing) illness, developing our brains and learning new skills, and with slowing down (or speeding up!) our aging!

This video, with New York Times best-selling author Dr. Christiane Northrup, will help your brain release those “Aging rules” that may be keeping you stuck:
